How does this work?

Once you reach out to us we will set up a phone or video call. This will give us a chance to talk about the details and I can get an idea of what you are wanting. This way we make sure we are a good fit as well.

Once we spoken and you have decided to move forward,

1st: YAY! Thank you for trusting me to capture your sweet little one.

2nd: I will send over your contract, invoice and some questionairres for you to complete. These questionairres will give you a chance to give more details into colors, poses or special props you want to use for your session.

3rd: Once your contract is signed and the creative fee is paid we will start planning your session.

Once your sweet baby has arrived we will scedule your newborn session between 7- 14 days old. This is a prime time to do the session due to how sleepy babies are and they still enjoy to be wrapped up nice and tight.

Your session will be done in your home. I will bring everything that is needed for the session. You will recieve a Newborn Prep Guide Prior to your session that will give many helpful tips on how to prepare for the session. I have found those families who follow the prep guide tend to have a smoother session. Now this doesn’t always happen but that it why I always go with the baby’s flow.

Your session should take anywhere from 1 to 3 hours from set up and tear down. Most of the time I like to start with the baby then move to sibling and parent images. But again each sessions flow is all detemined the day of the session by how your baby is feeling at that moment. 🙂

At the end of your session you will pay your Collection Fee if you haven’t done so already.

About one to two weeks after your session you will receive a soft proofing gallery. This gallery will be emailed to you and have all the images from your session just slightly retouched. This gallery will also include examples of what the fully retouched images will look like.

At this time you will select the images you would like to have fully retouched. Once you have selected those images I will complete your gallery within two to three weeks.

Final Image

Once your gallery is complete you will receive an email to schedule your Reveal and Ordering Appointment. This is the time that you will finally see all the images fully retouched. This is also the time that you can order prints, albums or other products that we offer. 

Once the appointment is compete your final gallery will be emailed to you. You will receive a download code that will allow you to download the digital images to your computer. 

If you purchase products you will receive an estimated date for delivery.
