Hey Y’all
My name is Chrissy Short and I have been a photographer for 9 years. In that time I have photographed countless births, newborns and families. Many people have a hobby that brings them joy, and for me my job brings me joy. I get to capture the most precious moments in life over and over again. I have watched men become fathers, and mothers discover how truly strong they are. My style when it comes to photography is to capture real people in the realest moments of life. In all the messiness, and beauty that life will bring us. I want everyone to feel comfortable and have fun while making lasting memories.
Now out of all the sessions I do, birth is my favorite. I could talk about birth and pregnancy for hours on end. Once you talk with me will be able to see my passion for birth and photography. I know there are so many photographers out there, but all I care about is that you find the right photographer to capture those irreplaceable moments in our lives.
Outside of photography, being a birth doula has been a passion of mine for years. I actually started as a birth doula before I ever picked up a camera. I have attended many births from births at hospitals, homes to birth centers; from epidural births, all natural births, scheduled c-sections, emergency c-sections, VBACs, 48+ hours birth and quick births. My goal as your doula is to add to your birth team. I want to help you achieve your dream birth while helping you become empowered and educated in your choices. Let’ DOULA this!
